Thursday 10th July

We were up bright and early this morning as I was going to London to visit Lee and Lottie as they were not working today. Tom opted to stay with the boat and do a few jobs, including a bit of paint touching up!! I am sure the scrapes couldn't have been caused by me but he will tell you a different story.
I had a lovely day and it was great to see both Lottie and Lee and spend a few relaxing hours at their place. It was very strange having to negotiate Kings Cross and the tube in the rush hour, having spent the last few weeks in the back waters.
Luckily it was fine and Tom managed to do nearly all the painting but will finish off tomorrow.
