It was dry this morning although not sunny. We set off at 11am to retrace our steps down the River Little Ouse. It was a quiet uneventful trip, although rain threatened for most of the journey.
After 4 hours we arrived back onto the River Great Ouse and made our way to moor for the night at Littleport. This is a small village which is fairly close to Ely. By this time it was raining quite heavily so we didn't explore the surrounding areas.
We had our evening meal in the nearby pub "the Black Horse" before returning to the boat for the night. We are going to try to start off a bit earlier tomorrow and spend a couple of days at Ely.
